In accepting that we are all leaders, whether of major organizations, as entrepreneurs, or simply in our homes, a key factor in recognizing how well we are doing is looking at how well we are living our values.

Sadly, on occasion when I have asked others what their core values are, they have had no idea: “I’ve never thought about it.” “I’ve never considered them important.”

My question for them, is how can they be certain they are living the traits, lifestyle, or career that truly fits them if they cannot even identify their core values? I truly have no judgement here, only concern. It is so easy to get caught up in the rush and stress of “productivity” and getting things done that completion is the only thought on our minds.

Also, I’m bringing this up because two friends asked me exactly the same thing last week.

Recognizing your values, and keeping them conscious, is a great way to truly be in alignment with yourself, your peace and your joy. It also calls you to see how you want to walk in this world.

I am a disruptor – and who loves to create new paradigms, new ways of looking at things. My desire is to disrupt the status quo while calling others to live a life of passion, faith, and joy knowing this is a spiritual journey.

I call others, especially thought leaders, to my values of freedom, leadership, audaciousness, relationships, and inner peace. These are qualities for truly living this life, not surviving it.

For me, these are the tools for physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

Knowing what you value, what feeds your heart and soul, is knowing what brings you ease rather than dis-ease.

It puts you in alignment, on a daily basis, with your life purpose, your passion, and your authentic power.

The gifts of meditation or mindfulness provide the opportunity to bring your values to the forefront, each morning or evening. What an amazing way to start or end your day…..

I call you to do the same. Begin and/or end your day with you and those values that make you the most effective and grounded leader you may know. What a role model for others and what a gift you will be giving yourself. A grounded, spiritually connected leader who is living his or her values is an asset everywhere, under any circumstances.

Try it !!!!
