Have, and I hope you have, had one of those days, or even weeks, where life is just filled with excitement, potential, and freedom? Today is one of those days!  I’ve had these wonderful experiences throughout the week yet, for balance perhaps, moments of “Why am I here?” have also surfaced.

My experience is such that, when we are ready for another breakthrough we are reminded of where we are leaving as well as where we are going. I mentioned to a girlfriend the other day that I realized what has been missing in my life has been passion and outrageousness. Passion for life, passion for my work, and so on. I’ve been fine but living in passion and outrageousness is a whole other reality.

Once that realization hit and I opened up to whatever is coming, as happens, so many opportunities to fly are taking place.  Asked to be on this exciting board where really transformative work is taking place, many more podcast opportunities showing up, getting to know amazing people on an entirely different level, so many things…

Because I’m me, my first inclination is to turn to friends, associates etc. and say “Hey, what’s happening with your passion?” “What level of outrageousness have you become comfortable with at this point?” “What are you doing with them?” It’s not even Spring yet and somehow new life, new levels of being are being shown. Slightly longer days having an impact perhaps?

These are not rhetorical questions, they are real ones I hope you spend time exploring.

  • If you could have infinite freedom, what would your life look like?
  • If you could purposely grow any way you chose, what would that look like for you?
  • If you could impact the world, making it a more loving, successful, and community focused entity, what would you bring to the table?

I believe we all have a spiritual purpose; we are all called to make this world a better place. How we do that, and it changes at different stages of our lives, is up to us. Following that inner knowing, that inner call, opens up infinite possibilities limited only by our fears.

Sometimes the execution of that calling doesn’t look exactly as we imagined, but when you sit and look at what you achieved, it is exactly what you were going for. If it is so general as “providing a beautiful home for my family” do you get defeated in that it is not as beautiful as some of the mansions you see on TV?  Or, can you see that the beauty of your home radiates in the flowers you’ve planted, the cake on the kitchen counter, the laughter coming from the family room?

Honor those days that call you to come alive in such a way that you can feel change coming, freedom expanding, your potential being called upon. and live in the excitement of the unfolding. Having control, or stability, is nowhere near as life-giving as having excitement, passion, and a small (or very large) dose of outrageousness….

Live your life realizing it is always in the process of becoming,.. Discovering what it’s becoming is the adventure!
