What a month!

Have you ever had those times when you knew you were going away for a trip and therefore felt you had to catch up on everything so that when you drove away there was nothing left undone? The house was cleaned, the bills were paid, the paperwork was done, the calls returned, and everything was in order. Amazing what you could do when you felt you absolutely must have things done – for whatever the reason…..

It has just dawned on me that although that has been a way of life for me for much of my adult life it was because my quiet hope has been that when I returned I would have a world of new experiences to integrate, a whole new level of personal growth to recognize and enjoy and a wonderful new perspective on life.  It never ceases to amaze me how insightful we are without even realizing it. That has been a longing and a realization for forever.

This trip I just made to Philadelphia did all that and more. It was a glorious experience of seeing myself with new eyes. I have been a speaker for over 25 years yet seeing myself as a part of a larger professional organization, the National Speakers Association, and all the great folks I met has changed something in me. New horizons and new affiliations at new levels feel so natural and so long coming.

I understand even more clearly that we are cellularly impacted by those we spend our time with. In what way are you impacted by those you work with? Those you choose to be with? Who calls you to become more? Who calls you to dream even more? Do you intentionally bring those folks into your life who will do that for you? If not, rethink your process. You deserve to have people in your life who call you to more – actually to becoming more of who you are meant to be – one dream and one step at a time. Share, if you will, what impact those in your life have had in supporting you in becoming even more of who you are meant to be. It may remind you to continue bringing in those who will walk with you on this path.
