As we move closer to summer, graduations are happening and in these days of Covid some, like my family, were required to watch on YouTube rather than attend in person.
This can clearly be a cause for complaints, defiance, grief, resistance, illusions of victimization, or anything else some may choose to claim. Notice, however, that wherever you go, it’s a choice. If one of these is a choice you made for this, acknowledge that it is a choice you are making for so many things.
Honestly, life is an amazing adventure of watching miracles take place on an almost daily basis. It truly is. When you are open to seeing them, you can find miracles almost everywhere. You will find as well that rather than being in defiance or illusions of victimization, you are in a place of expectation, excitement, and joy at the gift of the journey never knowing what you will discover.
At the end of my driveway, I can sometimes see up to a hundred swans in South Cove. Some days a few ducks swim by as well. On cloudier days the Cove may appear empty, yet they are in hiding, protecting themselves from the cold, the wind, whatever they choose, or, perhaps simply taking a break
These exquisite creatures are a gift of elegant beauty from the Universe, from Spirit, from whatever your faith believes in. Unless of course, they are pains in the butt that leave droppings around the grass by the Cove. It’s all in the perspective.
Choosing the positive perspective doesn’t negate the fact that the other exists, it simply defines where you are putting your energy. Since everything in your life is dependent upon the energy you put out, choose wisely.
What you focus on has power. What you expect to see, you will see. Since these are options, why not focus on the gift of the journey, the blessings and the miracles? That provides the energy and the needed perspective to fly in whatever way you choose. It provides you the option to see opportunities you would otherwise miss.
Your positive energy also provides you with health. When you are open and living in joyful expectation that each moment is opening a door to the unknown, your energy is fluid, flowing, alive, and life-giving. When you shut down, or living in negativity, energetically you are tight, blocked, stagnant, and like a backyard pond, can easily become infested.
Choose life – choose miracles – and choose the gift of a journey that may have many obstacles, but will always have many ways around them, people to hold your hand if you only reach out, and in this warming climate, natural blessings waiting to be discovered. Go and enjoy, you deserve the positive and so much more.
