Out of the Box

Each of the steps in my 5 Steps to Claiming Your Dreams System has very specific directives to follow if you are to achieve your wildest dreams. For a dream to achieve everything it is capable of, and in order for it to call you to become everything you are capable of becoming, it has to truly be out of the box. Playing it safe has never permitted a dream to come to its fullest fruition.

As a prime example of thinking out of the box, the second person in my 3 person Master Mind group, Debra Vey Voda-Hamilton, has taken the message of this second step and exploded it. Debra was a litigator who followed her professional dream for as long as she was capable. When she had outgrown that field and was ready for the next step in her journey, she combined the skills and passions developed in her previous dreams as a breeder of show dogs, an owner of many dogs herself, and as a lawyer into one profession that combined all these skills and more.

Debra became a mediator of conflicts involving animals. She deals with couples involved in divorce by helping them decide for themselves how to share their beloved pets. Her developed skills in mediation also support her in dealing with conflicts involving animals in condominium situations, breeding contracts, show dogs agreements, veterinarian difficulties and more. Because of her vast experience Debra can handle any conflict you can imagine in which animals and people are involved.  Her well-developed approach works regardless of the so called “insurmountable” obstacles in the way. She even teaches her techniques to others.

As frequently happens, living out of the box for Debra entailed something as large as becoming a thought-leader in her field, a field she was creating and developing. She knew her strengths; she knew her dedication to her animals and to what fed her soul. As a thought-leader Debra also realized she needed to create her own niche based on everything she was and what she could do best. Most importantly, this new endeavor was to be based on her passion and her dream that no animal suffers because of an owner’s inability to resolve a conflict.

As a Master Mind group, the three of us, Debra, Andrea and I have been there to offer support, guidance, clarity and focus to each other. Andrea took an avocation and made it her career. Debra jumped out of the traditional legal box and found a much needed specialty that brings her best self to the table to help others. I took my love of life and my willingness to follow my dreams to a new level by supporting others in claiming their dreams, one step at a time. I stress that they do so with the support of leaders and like-minded souls who lovingly walk with them, making the trip far more enjoyable, less stressful, unlimited, and truly out of the box….
