Continuously Evolving

I have loved what I do professionally since the time I started working.  (Even though for me that meant making .25 an hour babysitting knowing that today my granddaughter can make $5 – $10 an hour.) Whenever I got bored or outgrew how I was doing something I either moved on or expanded my way of doing it. It was clear to me at those moments that it was time for either a new or an expanded dream.  It meant always bringing in new stimulation, new challenges, and new ways of seeing me as well as seeing what I was doing and why I was doing it.

Sadly, I see so many folks who when they reach that place of boredom or of outgrowing something they simply give up or give in. Rather than challenging themselves to grow further, to become more of who they are meant to be, they get stuck and in the stagnation they begin to die within. Often it is years later before they come to see me saying “I feel like the walking dead. I’m walking through my life yet I haven’t felt alive in years. “

This is such a waste of an absolutely wonderful journey you are on. Taking a risk to truly jump into life allows you to feel alive whether you have reached you ultimate goal or not. The experience of being on the path in following your next dream fills you with such joy, passion, enthusiasm, and adventure that the people you attract are doing the same thing.  Go for it and bring out the new, expanded you, calling those who can walk beside you to be support each other every step of the way. Life truly is meant to be lived and following your dream, whatever it is, makes that possible.
